Footprints
An after-school program serving children ages six to fifteen and their families.

What it is
Footprints
The Footprints Program is a community-wide program serving children experiencing grief and loss. Footprints places children in an 8 week after-school peer support group with other children, ages 6-15, who have experienced loss. Children learn to effectively cope and identify a wide range of emotions in a safe and nurturing environment.
Program mission
The mission of Footprints is to serve children dealing with grief in a faith-based environment that is safe and accepting of all emotions, and to help the child understand and begin to deal with the emotions regarding their loss.
